The Peace & Freedom Party, the only socialist party with ballot status in California, and the right-tilting Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Foundation are united in their opposition to the noxious ballot propositions in the upcoming May 19 special elections.
This is yet another example of politics-as-not-usual, populist upsurges from all sides of the political spectrum against the insiders, in this case the legislature and governor.
