Well, the texts between former Detroit mayor Kwame Kilpatrick and his girlfriend Christine Beatty were certainly burning with passion. He’s jail now, and the DA just released all 6,000 of the texts. TPM is asking people to post the most interesting ones in their comments.
This case stupefied me, as does those who say incriminating things in email or starlets who take nude cell phone photos of themselves and send it to a boyfriend. None of this is private. Assume whatever you put out on the Net could become public, most especially if you are a celebrity, politician, or public figure.
