Hidden Unities goes to a free medical clinic filled with people who have lost insurance and twenty / thirty-somethings with serious, painful maladies whose life options are now approaching zero.
I just know that in a time when employers have to choose between laying people off or getting rid of their health care plans, we have to put away the usual “terrible socialism”/”greedy capitalism” narrative our media and political classes thrive upon for fund raising, ideological purity and ratings.
We cannot continue to screw with people’s live like this.
That Hidden Unities tilts rightwing, and this leftie blog completely agrees, simply underscores their point.
