SPLC: Slain neo-Nazi, angry over Obama victory, reportedly prepared “dirty bomb” components
Amber Cummings reportedly told police that her husband was “very upset” over Barack Obama being elected president, had been in contact with white supremacist groups, and that he’d been mixing chemicals in their kitchen sink while talking about dirty bombs.
She killed him in December, apparently after years of abuse, and no charges have been filed. Police found gallon containers filled with radioactive materials, instructions for making dirty bombs, as well as other explosives, and an application to join a neo-Nazi party.
