Why wireless Internet matters to small wind

Wireless Internet in rural areas makes it easier to research possible locations to install wind or solar power and also to troubleshoot existing installations. Also, Some turbines already have built-in wireless so software updates can be easily uploaded.

This is yet another example of how the Internet is embedded in the business world. It’s like electricity, it always needs to be there.

  1. What I think is fascinating is how quickly the internet has become enmeshed with the world of business. It’s been that way for quite some time now, whereas widespread internet access of any kind for the common folk is not even 2 decades old. Surely, internet technologies benefitted from the fact that most of their infrastructure was already in place, but it’s still quite a whirlwind tour, so to speak.
