The Roboat can transit the Atlantic with no human intervention. Racecourses too. It is entirely self-powered (solar with fuel cell backup) and uses Linux. Its inventors say it could be used to survey waters and fishing resources, provide a safety system on any size ship, and be used for CO2-neutral shipping of goods.
