  1. Yahoo has Obama up another 0.4% today to 51.1% of the popular vote and McCain down to 44.2%– a commanding lead. But at the same time, they’ve dropped their projection of Obama’s electoral votes from 333 to 318, to McCains 181. Obama still has more than enough to clinch the nomination, but this suggests a polarization process in which he’s gaining popularity overall but losing ground in some states.

Unless a solution can be found, polarization will be the death of this nation.
