This is great news, However, this means a much larger sound system than usual is needed, so ANSWER LA has to raise $20,000 for this and the other expenses of the March 17 antiwar protest.
Major March 17 costs include securing professional, concert-quality staging and sound equipment. The contracts necessary to secure this sound and equipment must be signed soon. Leaflets, posters, stickers and other literature are also costing many thousands of dollars. We have produced and passed out more than 70,000 flyers, 25,000 stickers and 10,000 posters so far. Thousands more are needed in the next few weeks to spread the word to even more people.
