US Army might break Goodyear strike

The US Army is considering measures to force striking workers back to their jobs at a Goodyear Tire & Rubber plant in Kansas in the face of a looming shortage of tyres for Humvee trucks and other military equipment used in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The article notes there is no shortage now, but that there could be. So, not satisfied with preemptive attacks on other countries, the US now wants to do the same to its own workers? Sounds like an excuse to smash unions to me.
