It was a quick-thinking Army psychological operations team that made it appear to be a spontaneous Iraqi undertaking.
“Spontaneous” to Americans, maybe. In the movie, “Control Room”, an Al-Jazeera reporter watching the news feed said, why are all of them men about the same age, no women, and why did one just happen to have a 10 year old Iraqi flag in his pocket, and then – I am Iraqi, I was born and raised in Iraq, and they did not have Iraqi accents.
