Our government is doing just what the Brits did when Mad Cow was first discovered there – they said it’s not a serious threat to humans. One hundred people in England eventually died from this non-existent threat.
Several countries immediately banned US beef exports.
In perhaps the silliest news of the day, our government assured us the Mad Cow was not due to terrorists. As if anyone actually thought it was.
