Teamsters still striking Vons grocery distribution centers

Teamsters have NOT returned to work at four Vons grocery distribution centers in the Los Angeles area, and the picket lines are blocking trucks and becoming more militant.
This is a union-sanctioned action. Vons is owned by Safeway, whose CEO, Steven Burd, has said he wants to break the unions. Thus, Vons distribution centers are being targetted.
Word is these picket lines are growing both in numbers and in militancy. Stay tuned…
