Bolivian peasants kick serious ass!

The exiled former president of Bolivia, holed up in a hotel in Miami, yesterday spoke of the “shock and shame” he felt after being forced to resign and of his fears for the future of the South American country.

He was exiled because hundreds of thousands of peasants marched many miles to the capital city and then shut the city down — which overturned his corrupt regime.

While the Bushies are embroiled in the sinkhole that is Iraq, South American countries have been veering sharply to the left. What these Bolivian peasants did is inspirational.

May it happen here one day.
