Limit U.S. subsidies to family-sized farms, Dean says
“U.S. farm subsidies should be directed toward family-sized operations, former Vermont governor Howard Dean said Wednesday, instead of letting big farms soak up the lion’s share of the money.
Dean, who is seeking the Democratic nomination for president, would limit the payment of subsidies to a volume of production normally-found on family-sized farms.”
