Republicans worried about re-election of Bush.

Looks like Tony Blair arranged a very weak solution for the British citizens detained at Guantanamo.

But meanwhile, Clinton says Bush reference to uranium-africa link an understandable mistake:

“Nonetheless, he suggested that Bush’s mistake was par for the course — and that it was time to move on now that Bush had acknowledged the error. “You know, everybody makes mistakes when they are president,” he said. “I mean, you can’t make as many calls as you have to without messing up once in a while. The thing we ought to be focused on is what is the right thing to do now.”

Clinton said ending tensions in Iraq should be the priority now — another echo of the current White House’s talking points. “We should be pulling for America on this. We should be pulling for the people of Iraq.” “

(Is Clinton a TOTAL IDIOT or what)

I keep thinking about Clinton. He must be a closet Republican, the way he scores points for the conservatives and tries to swing the country to the right. Hasn’t he done enough, already?  Somebody should muzzle that man. “We should be pulling for the people of Iraq.” — yes, indeed, all along, by refusing to support Hussein in the first place, by refusing to supply him with weapons and to show him how to make still others, by not invading twice and bombing for the last decade.

When Deep Audit isn’t lambasting Clinton, she’s rooting out “inconsistencies” in financial reports so fast it makes the evildoers seasick.
