This looks to be a very special day of music. I’ve been following Steve Roach since the 80’s, and the other performers look to be equally amazing.
Roach has been doing ambient/trance since before it had a name. Music stores have trouble classifying him! Sometimes his CD’s are under New Age, sometimes experimental, or maybe electronic or electronica. His website lists his music under Atmospheric Space, Pure Electronic, Tribal-Ambient, and Desert-Ambient.
He rarely performs. I saw him live at an art gallery in Santa Monica and it was powerful. If you live in SoCal, don’t miss Day Out of Time.
