Molly Ivins, as usual, gets it right
From my dad comes:
In her column today “Molly Ivins says, ‘Have you ever seen such amazing arrogance coupled with such awesome incompetence?’ Wow, and no matter how you cut it, bad news for this country.”
My dad, I am proud to say, is the resident liberal/leftie in his retirement home. He was a lifelong Republican until ’92, when, appalled by the Religious Right, he became a Democrat.
Several years ago, at the age of 75, he bought a PC, taught himself how to use it, and is now the computer guru of the retirement home – proof positive you can continue to learn and help others for as long as you want to.
