Russia & China now oppose Iraq war
Russia & China have joined France and Germany in opposition to an Iraq War. All but Germany are permanent members of the UN Security Council with veto power over a war vote.
I find China’s opposition particularly significant, as they often wait a while before staking out a move, preferring to watch what others do first.
Washington is almost completely isolated in court of world opinion now.
The only countries besides the U.S. favoring a war are Britain and Australia, and I can’t help but note that these three countries are Anglo-Saxon in origin. So, may I hasten to add, this particular Anglo does not favor war, nor do many other Anglos!
