Two people dead. Major strikes in key industries. Their oil industry is nearly been shut down – which will spike world oil prices within a few days. A polarized populace. Those who want President Chavez to go tend to be middle and upper class and white, while those supporting Chavez tend to be lower class and brown. An explosive mix.
Chavez is a reformer, and he’s made serious enemies,, not the least of whom is the U.S. One coup attempt failed, I suspect another is coming quickly.
