Valley & Hollywood secession consultants quit
The secession campaigns, which had been staggering along at best, suffered major blows when their political consultants quit, claiming they are owed $100,000, and that the campaigns don’t have the money to pay them.
Secession, which originally seemed like it would be a huge and popular campaign has fizzled and is a non-event. Reasons include inept local organizing, a determined well-financed opposition, and little if any outreach to the rest of L.A.
