394 MW of energy was installed in November and it was all renewable. While this is certainly a milestone, there are a few caveats. Compared to energy consumption, 394 MW is a blip. California alone can have a peak demand of, depending on the weather, 20 GW up to 75 GW. Also, the total amount of installed renewable energy in the US is still quite small, about 8%, not counting hydro. Solar is less than 1%.
