Inquiring minds want to know. Why is bottled water not ok yet bottled soda and beer is?
San Francisco wants everyone to know how wonderfully tasting and clean its tap water is. So it may ban bottled water at public events. This will lead to thirsty folks either seeking out drinking fountains, which at big events will have long lines, or purchasing a tasty sugar-laden soft drink or beer instead.
This is the Green Police taken to silly extremes. Someone please tell San Francisco that beer and soda is composed primarily of water and comes in disposable containers just like bottled water does.
