Snipers on rooftops were shooting to kill, not wound. Most if not all those killed were pro-Morsi supporters. Were the snipers government or militias?
Much of the slaughter was triggered by pro- and anti- Morsi factions fighting the the streets. As I predicted when Morsi was forced from power, the Brotherhood would not go quietly and now things ares close to civil war.
