TechCrunch thinks big tech can somehow save us from government intrusion, not realizing that big tech has already quite willingly been co-opted.
Facebook, Google, Oracle, Microsoft, and many other big tech companies have been in bed with NSA for years, as recent revelation clearly show. They are subservient to the Ruling Party and their billionaires owners have benefited enormously from giving NSA carte blanche. They are not innocent, gobsmacked bystanders.
