Closed stores have been painted over to appear open and the area near the coming G8 summit in Northern Ireland is freshly scrubbed to pretend business is thriving. A real Potemkin Village is being created, a  telling example of the uselessness of our parasitical bankster class and the governments they own.

What about those pesky abandoned buildings and other eyesores of blight and destitution? No problem, just place colorful murals in front of them. It makes sense. After all, the response by the G8 to the financial collapse since the beginning has been to cover it up and pretend nothing happened.

The Irish Times has photos and more.
