A cautionary note in the aftermath of the Boston bombing. The murder of Kaufman County District Attorney Mike McLelland and his wife were at first thought to perhaps have been done by the Aryan Brotherhood or maybe even drug cartels.
As it turns out, the truth may be much more prosaic and not involving conspiracies at all. Former Justice of the Peace Eric Lyle Williams is expected to be charged with the murders. The DA had successfully prosecuted him for stealing computers from the county. Williams lost his job and his law license.
