Cheap 3D printers create replacement hand for a five-year old boy

Liam had no fingers on his right hand. Two designers created a Robohand for him using 3D printers. Not only can Liam use his new Robohand, the designers have published the plans and made them public domain so anyone can now 3D print a Robohand as well as tweak the design. Ars Technica has the details.
