Renewable energy tax credits anger House neanderthals

Daryll Issa, chair of a House oversight committee is grumpy that the renewable energy tax credits, which were extended until the end of 2013 when the budget bill passed, pulled a fast move on energy neanderthals like himself.

The credits that expired at the end of 2012 include renewable energy projects that were completed by Dec. 31, 2012. The new credits are for renewables project that are started by the end of Dec. 31, 2013.

So, Issa is promising to huff and puff about this (apparently because tax credits are only worthwhile when granted to defense and oil companies) but happily there’s probably not much he can do about it.
