Erika Menendez says she pushed the blameless Sunando Sen into the path of an oncoming subway in New York City because “because I hate Hindus and Muslims ever since 2001 when they put down the twin towers I’ve been beating them up.”
It could be she’s just nuts and this is what the voices told her to do but even with that, this is just one more example of deranged violence in a country that has already had far too much of it lately.
And stricter controls on guns wouldn’t have made any difference.
