Texas grid produces 26% of energy from wind power, a new record

Earlier this month, Texas set a new record for the percentage of electricity generated by wind power, a staggering 26 percent of total supply across the state’s main grid system.

Even better, 21 GW of wind turbines are under review by the state. Texas shows that left vs. right politics have little to do with renewable energy. Texas is a red state and leads the country in wind power with no one else even close.
