Seven NYC subway tunnels are flooded and six bus garages are closed. The Brooklyn Battery Tunnel is completely flooded “from end to end.”
I lived in Los Angeles during the Northridge Quake. It was devastating. After a couple of days there was a sense of a bruised and battered city slowly getting up off the ground. Los Angeles recovered and you will too New York City.
The Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Cape Cod shorelines no doubt got clobbered too.
