US farmers: Government should rethink ethanol during drought

Farmers and farming advocates are asking the Environmental Protection Agency to ease up on ethanol requirements for the U.S. fuel mix because drought conditions through much of the country are causing corn prices to spike.

Corn is used to produce ethanol as well as to feed livestock, The drought is making corn more expensive for ranchers, and using corn for fuel just makes it worse.
