Rajat Gupta convicted of insider trading

A corrupt member of the 1%, Rajat Gupta, is going to prison. Good. He used to be CEO of elite international management consultancy McKinsey and certainly didn’t need the money. He is now the poster child for how degraded, corrupt, and sleazy our ruling class has become. They are parasites who take much and give little or nothing.

However, no investment bank CEOs and executives have been be charged with any of the multitude of crimes they have committed.

Instead, the biggest names to fall are Gupta and his crony Raj Rajaratnam, who is currently in prison. Both are from India. Rajaratnam gave money to the Tamil Tigers, a coincidence that may not be a coincidence at all. Just saying.
