Fracking outbids farmers for Colorado water

Companies that supply water to fracking drilling in Colorado bid higher for water in auctions than farmers did.

How do we continue to sustain agriculture when there’s just more and more demand on our water resources in this state?” said Bill Midcap, director of the Rocky Mountain Farmers Union.

Bizarrely, fracking is considered a beneficial use of water in Colorado. But if farmers and ranchers get outbid for water, that means less food and meat for the rest of us.

  1. This is why we need to move to a more sustainable resource for energy. Like perpetual motion that is created from magnetic generators. Typically these generators take 20%-40% of the amount of energy they create to keep the rotation of the non stationary field to rotate so that the generator follows it and thus the cycle completes itself over and over and over again without further requiring any external energy besides initial start up. Not to mention all the free excess energy that can be stored or simply used at the time, even with excess non used energy being stored at the same time, which could even mean a generator never needing an external power source ever than it’s own battery banks. We would have electric cars with virtually unlimited mileage. Clean air. Clean water. The cleanest energy of them all. The cheapest energy of them all. Free magnetic energy.
