The pipeline sends natural gas to Israel and Jordan. WSJ says it was probably done by Bedouin with RPGs, who could certainly attack again anytime, especially considering that authorities are a teensy bit preoccupied with other matters now.
At first the government pretended it was caused by a leak but now blames “subversive elements.”
Israel gets 25% of their natural gas from this pipeline and is no doubt getting seriously twitchy about the reliability of this supply, what with this explosion and the ongoing revolution.
