U.S. can’t link accused Army private Manning to Assange, NBC

U.S. military officials tell NBC News that investigators have been unable to make any direct connection between a jailed army private suspected with leaking secret documents and Julian Assange, founder of the whistleblowing website WikiLeaks.

Sounds like they have no case against Assange. And I suspect the reason they are refusing visitors to Manning is because of his disintegrating mental condition due to the torture-like conditions under which they are holding him.
