Quora. Something new in blogging?

Scoble thinks so, posing the question Is Quora the biggest blogging innovation in 10 years? then answering Yes.

Quora is a bloggy-like platform, where you ask questions, get answers, and can follow people as well as topics. It is simple to use but quite powerful.

Get out of the echo chamber!

If you’re trapped in the beltway echo chamber, whether in DC itself or you’ve just been watching too much CNN since you got snowed in, read this.  Maybe it will wake you up.  Read the whole thing here.

Expect lawsuits as census may have overlooked 1.5 million Californians

California officials claim their more careful census shows that the population of California is 38.8 million, 1.5 million more than the federal census figure of 37.3 million. However, I would advise you to [...]

Wind turbines could boost agricultural output

Preliminary research indicates that wind turbines aid in the growth of certain crops due to measurable effects upon the climate surrounding the fields.

The turbines push air downwards, giving the crops faster, cooler air which keeps them slightly warmer in cold weather and cooler in hot weather.
