Americablog thinks so, as it can find no other reason why Obama is hectoring and insulting the base he claims to want to mobilize. Could be, but given that Obama was Wall Street’s choice, and has amply done their bidding by sending them hundreds of billions and insured that any legislation regulating them was tepid, maybe his job is done and he doesn’t much care what happens.
Yes, I’m getting that cynical.
