Jay Leno’s green garage

Leno’s garage has a solar roof putting out 54 KW so it’s off the grid during the day. The video features early electric cars, some from 1909, as well as steam cars. Leno clearly loves his cars and is highly knowledgeable about them. Interesting, some of the early electric cars could go 100 miles on a charge, about what many can do today. There were many electric vehicles around the turn of the last century on the roads. My 92 year old father remembers seeing them as a boy in New York City.
