The betrayals continue.
The Obama administration has urged the Supreme Court to toss out an appeals court decision that would allow lawsuits against major emitters for their contributions to global warming, stunning environmentalists who see the case as a powerful prod on climate change.

Now, what these environmentalists don’t understand — yet — is that Team Obama isn’t really on their side. Not in the way they think, anyway. It’s a tough lesson and hard to swallow. The gays learned it early on, between Rick Warren and the DOMA brief.
(Mr. Pawa and Mr. Bookbinder should be prepared. They’ll see a lot of their colleagues in the environmental movement make excuses and apologize for what the Obama administration did.)
Favorite excuses include “Obama must have bad advisers”, “He must have a good reason for doing this that we don’t know about”, and the all-time favorite “We just need to get him the correct information then he’ll do the right thing.”
Any bets on whether he’ll pass over Elizabeth Warren for the CPB in favor of some industry hack with more “experience”?
Sen. Christopher “The Snake” Dodd is already hard at work trying to defeat Warren.

LOL That is literally one of the funniest political comments I have seen in some time. What planet are these people living on? It is difficult to believe that there are still people who continue to be hoodwinked election after election by the professional con-men and -women in the Democratic and Republican parties. The thing that makes it so tragic is that many of them likely know very well that the ruling parties are in fact nothing but the political vehicles for the corporate interests that own them, but still they always seem to tell themselves “this time it will be different.” What is it going to take to get these people to declare their independence from, and opposition to, the two-party state?
“If Obama just knew the real truth, then he’s do the right thing. We just need to present it to him correctly.”
“Obama has bad advisers. That’s the problem.”
“Obama has special information that we don’t. That’s why he does such things.”
