Gulf oil leak. Obama’s Katrina

Over the last month, it’s become increasingly clear that there is a coordinated information operations campaign in place to downplay the impact of the Gulf of Mexico oil spill. The US government and British Petroleum have imposed a scientific and media blackout to prevent the gathering of the information on the oil leak needed to generate precise estimates. Despite this blackout, credible outside estimates made possible by the little information that has trickled out show that the amount of oil leaking from the broken wellhead is upwards of twenty times the official British Petroleum and Government estimates — nearly 4,000,000 gallons a day vs. 210,000.

This is solely a PR effort to portray the disaster as less than that. It obviously won’t work, and oil is already coming ashore and simply shows how delusional the federal government is – as well as working hand in hand with BP in an attempted cover-up.

Scientists fault lack of studies over Gulf oil spill

EPA gives BP 24 hours to stop dumping toxic chemical
on Gulf spill. Their pathetically slow response was only because Rep. Markey forced the issue.

Gulf oil spill leak now pegged at 95,000 barrels a day. Yet the government and BP continue their fantasy of 5,000 barrels a day.
