On Christmas, I wrote an article called Health-care bill will stimulate economy and create tens of thousands of jobs. Within hours it had gone semi-viral with over 3000 hits on the web. As always, AIG and Goldman appear to be leading players. In this case, multiple federal investigations centering on just what happened with AIG. Jane Hamsher of Firedoglake rightfully slams The Nation’s Katrina vanden Heuvel apologia for Obama’s inaction. The Obama White House has been working furiously to pass an enormous transfer of wealth to the insurance companies from the start. I don’t see how reporting this constitutes “attacking the administration,” or why it “hurts” the “progressive agenda” [...] |  | ||||
