If the Taliban pay $300 a month, there should be no problem with the coalition putting $350 or $400 a month together.
Why are we spending a multiple of Afghanistan’s total GDP on fighting a war in the country? Couldn’t more be done, for cheaper, with cash for bribes and development?
If wars and conflicts continue for no discernable purpose when they could be been lessened or ended, then the various combatants have vested interests in continuing them that go way beyond their stated goals. In other words, they don’t want peace. War allows such vested interests to amass power, money, and influence.
