Me

Bob Morris

Finally got a good picture of myself for the About Page here, so here it is, taken at Fortynine Palms Oasis in Joshua Tree National Park on Saturday.

Joshua Tree is the only place where two desert systems, the Mojave and the Sonoran, meet. It can easily be 110 degrees in the summer and its amazing rock formations draw climbers from all over the world during the winter when the rock isn’t too hot to handle. There are even huge desert tortoises there. A magical place really, but always bring lots of water. You don’t get to make a lot of mistakes in deserts.
