Susan Boyle, a 47 year old woman, showed up on Britain’s Got Talent. She was way awkward during the intro, seemed seriously out of her depth, and said her dream was to sing before an audience. The jaded audience looked skeptical, like this could be painful to watch.
Instead, she was breathtakingly good and got a standing ovation with prolonged cheers.
