Electricity from waste heat

A new design rotor may be able to take low-temperature waste heat and convert it into electricity. If so, this would be a first and could conceivably lead to enormous amounts of electricity being generated.

The company expects to convert 10 to 15 percent of low-temperature waste heat into electricity, delivering a payback in two years or less in most cases
