To be fair, it's true of everywhere in the UK apart from London - we all depend not on England, but on London. Without London, we'd all be stuffed. It's not a good thing, but there we are. Anyway, I don't think this makes the slightest difference to the dream of Scots independence. It was never that close -- it might happen, but not for a while yet -- and I don't think this makes it further away. I don’t think that Scotland could have had the resources to do it, no.
