The best way to honor our war dead is to work like hell to see that no further waste is ever needed – we need to take the “glory” out of such dying, most of it needless, and vow to do better for peace in their names. Carole Estrup’s new painting is dedicated to those who survive war. See it at Carole’s Gallery & Bookstore … the survivors need our hard work, too.

  2. I believe that nonviolence is an individual journey and that society is only as nonviolent as the individuals within it– hence as long as people are being born, there will be violence.

    I also believe any conflict can be ended. But it takes work. Some people transform on their own, but most need help. I sure wish the millions who claim to promote peace would get involved in the face-to-face process of conversion!
