I kept asking myself why Americans did this–while my the European media that I followed was showing a growing concern over there about global warming. And then some time ago I realized, Americans live in a bubble! They didn’t know there was only so much oil left. They didn’t hear about global warming, unless with an Exxon shill sitting opposite the scientist who told about it, in for “balance” no doubt, and poo-pooing the whole thing. American media is so mad for profits it simply refuses to tell us anything unpleasant about our culture.

This is a really fucked up country.
