“Greenhouse gas emissions were 62 per cent less in 2006 than in 1990, despite increased production volumes during that period,” the report states.

Does more remain to be done? Sure. But it’s heartening to see an industry usually seen as the enemy by environmentalists instead working with them, as happened here, to cut emissions.  More of this everywhere, please.
